TERRA RPM
TerraFlow is a blend of organic molecules that builds a unique structure, producing high viscosity with a wide range of brines from monovalent to multivalent, up to saturation.
Features & Benefits
Experimental Design
Terra’s Fluid Optimization protocol involves flowing fluids from one direction into an oil and water saturated porous media, visualizing the displacement and sweep efficiency of the fluids. After a soaking period, oil and brine flowed back through the porous media in the opposite direction. This additional step evaluates the various fluid’s effectiveness and selectivity in allowing oil and brine to flow quickly and uninhibited. For the purposes of evaluating TerraRPM , oil, and brine flow into separate micro and nano scale networks to evaluate oil/brine flow back selectivity. The frac network is interconnected.

Regain Saturation
TerraRPM resulted in slower brine regain saturation than control, while not significantly affecting oil regain saturation.
